Mobile Brake Tester Shaker Plates
The BM53000 Mobile Wheel Play Detector is a heavy-duty hydraulic play detector designed for commercial vehicles with axle loads up to 20,000 kg.
It can be supplied as an optional add-on to the BM20200 Mobile Brake Tester, creating a more complete mobile commercial vehicle test system, or supplied as a stand-alone wheel play detector for workshops, depots and test facilities that require a separate inspection solution.
The system uses two heavy-duty steel moving plates, one for each wheel, allowing the operator to check for excessive movement and wear in steering and suspension components without the need to jack the vehicle up.
The plates can be moved horizontally in 8 different directions, helping the operator identify play in components such as wheel bearings, kingpins, steering joints, track rod ends, suspension bushes and other steering or suspension components.
Operation is controlled using a convenient handheld remote, allowing the technician to inspect the vehicle closely while controlling plate movement.
Built for demanding commercial vehicle environments, the BM53000 provides a fast and effective way of carrying out steering and suspension play checks on HGVs, trucks, trailers and other heavy vehicles.
