BM20200 Axle Load Simulation
Additional Option for the BM20200
The BM Axle Load Simulation (ALS) system can be retrofitted to any BM20200 Mobile Brake Tester, giving existing machines the added capability of carrying out brake tests under simulated axle load without the need to replace the brake tester.
The system applies a controlled load directly to the vehicle axle during testing, helping to produce more representative brake test results on vehicles that may otherwise be tested lightly loaded or unladen.
It can be supplied with a new BM20200 or retrofitted to machines already in service, making it an ideal upgrade for workshops, fleets, commercial vehicle operators and test facilities wanting to increase the capability of their existing equipment.
The system uses heavy-duty hydraulic equipment and chains attached to the vehicle axle to apply the required load before the brake test is carried out.
Available load capacity is 8 tonnes, with an optional 16-tonne version available.
